The Kings Regional Service Commission invites you to celebrate the heart of our communities – our volunteers. On Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Leonard’s Gate in Sussex will come alive with stories, connections, and opportunities to make a difference.

Whether you’ve been volunteering for years or are just curious about getting started, you’ll find friendly faces and open doors.
If your group relies on volunteers, this is a perfect chance to share your story. Bring brochures, business cards, or anything that showcases your work – no elaborate displays required. This event is about connection, not competition, and about making it easy for community members to learn, join, and contribute.
We encourage you to invite your current volunteers to attend so they can be recognized, share their stories, and connect with peers from other organizations. This event is designed to bring together existing and prospective volunteers, creating opportunities for networking, collaboration, and community pride. Your volunteers’ experiences can inspire others, spark new partnerships, and help grow a stronger, more connected volunteer network in the Kings Region.
