Beyond the Pantry: Cooking Workshop with Chef Shane

The Kings Regional Service Commission is excited to host Beyond the Pantry, a hands-on cooking workshop designed to make healthy, delicious meals more accessible to everyone.

In this session, Chef Shane will guide participants in creating a nutritious, family-friendly meal using fresh produce and common food bank items. All ingredients will be provided – you just bring your curiosity and appetite!

Why We’re Hosting This Workshop

This event is part of our Community Development mandate under the priority area of food security. Access to healthy, affordable food is a cornerstone of strong, thriving communities. Beyond the Pantry offers practical skills, budget-friendly tips, and creative ways to use ingredients you might already have at home or receive from a food bank.
